World Robotics Olympiad Preparation

World Robot OlympiadTM (WRO) brings together young people from all over the world to develop their creativity, design and problem solving skills through challenging and educational robot competitions and activities. WRO started in Asia but is now present in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, South America, North America and Australia. Costa Rica is proud to host WRO 2017!

Sustainabots: Robots for sustainability Sustainabots are designed to care for the planet, the people and themselves. A Sustainabot is developed to change our world without affecting it, integrating the 3 pillars of Sustainability: Environmental, Social and Economical.

WRO INDIA World Robot Olympiad India (WRO India) is one of the largest Robotics competition in India for students between the age group of 9 to 25 years, held since 2006. It is a not-for-profit competition jointly organized by India Stem Foundaton and National Council of science and Museum. Schools are invited to enter a team of three students to participate in this competition. Participating teams need to create, design and build a robot model that look or behave like a human athlete. The competitionstarts from preliminary to the final judging.

New Delhi 2016, the WRO story continues. Almost 2500 people were present in India. Hundreds of parents, coaches and judges made sure that the 463 teams representing 50 countries could perform at their best. The global diversity of WRO was clearly visible at this 13th international WRO final.

WRO - 2016 Highlight

ScienceCanvas is proud to equip and mentor JVM, Shyamali team last year for World Robotics Olympiad (WRO 2016). Even with virtual guidance, team won regional competition in Kolkata and qualified for nationals. This was only possible because of their unprecedented hard work for this competition. For the very 1st time, they participated in WRO. We are glad to be a part of it and excited to continue the tradition this year as well! Well done Mayukh Pankaj & Ankur Dubey!!!
